Error P22 on Canon printers
Error P22 or P,2,2 is a scanner error.
Solution 1:
• Power off the printer
• unplung the power cord
• Plug in the power cord
Solution 2:
• If the printer is still under warranty, contact the Canon support.
Solution 3:
• The scanner unit or the logic board is defective. The best thing to do: buy a new printer !

too bad it broke after 10 uses, appears the head is stuck in place maybe broken.
