How to Fix Error 1680 in Canon MX Seires Printers

1680 - Orange light blinking 7 times

Description:

The ink cartridge is installed in the wrong position (example – green cartridge installed in yellow slot).

Resolution:

1.      Lift the printer cover up.

2.      Check that all ink cartridges are in the correct slots. 

Remove and install the ink cartridges into their correct positions if necessary.

3.      Press the [Resume/Cancel] button on the device to continue printing.

4.      If the above solution has not resolved your error, please contact Canon authorised service facility.
